Borrowing from PesaPap Loan App
Once you complete the registration process, the app will analyze your credit records and other parameters to determine the amount of loan you qualify to apply for. To apply for a mobile loan, follow the steps illustrated below.
- Open the PesaPap App
- Log in to the PesaPap App
- Select PesaPap wallet
- Select My loans
- Check for your loan limit. (This is the maximum amount of money you can borrow.)
- Select Request Loan

- Select from Family Bank to MPESA

You need to repay the loan on time to avoid a negative credit report. Also, repaying the loan on time contributes to increasing your loan limit. This limit implies that the more you borrow and repay, the bigger the loan you can get.
How to Repay a PesaPap App Loan
- Open PesaPap app
- Log in to your wallet account
- Select PesaPap wallet
- Choose My loans
- Select repay loan
- Choose source (Loan account)
- Choose the amount to repay (partial or complete)
- Proceed
The amount selected will be deducted from your wallet to repay the loan. If your PesaPap wallet is empty, you can transfer money from your Family Bank account into the wallet. For those who do not have a Family Bank account, you can deposit the funds directly into your wallet through MPESA.

- Go to the MPESA menu
- Select Lipa Na MPESA
- Select PayBill
- Enter 222111 as the PayBill number
- Input account number (Enter your mobile phone number in this format +254)
- Enter amount
- Enter the pin, then press okay.
