How Does Fuliza ya Biashara Work?
Like Fuliza Mpesa, Fuliza Biashara allows you to complete the following transactions when you have insufficient funds in your Mpesa business Till.
- Pay to a mobile number/customer.
- Withdraw to M-PESA agent.
- Pay bills via Lipa na Mpesa
- The Pay to another Buy Goods till
- Withdraw to the nominated number.
To use the service, business owners must activate it first by opting in. You will be assigned a limit once you have successfully opted into Fuliza Biashara. The limit is based on your business’s day-to-day financial transaction history and performance. Your limit will be raised or lowered based on performance and repayment.
The service charges a two percent (2%) daily fee for up to 29 days and a daily maintenance fee ranging from Sh12 to Sh250 based on the amount withdrawn. Repayments are made automatically from collections made to the till every 30 minutes.
If you do not pay your Fuliza loan on time, your limit will be reduced, and eventually, you will be listed on the CRB after 91 days of your due date.

How to Activate Fuliza ya Biashara
There are two ways to activate Fuliza Biashara: Via the Fuliza ya Biashara USSD code and the Mpesa App.
Via USSD Code
- Dial *234# from the nominated number.
- Select M-PESA Business Till
- Next, enter HO/Store Number
- Select Business loans and,
- Then, select Fuliza ya Biashara.
- Select Join Now
- Accept Terms & Conditions
- Next, enter the Operator ID and PIN, and lastly, select the accept menu option.
- Your overdraft limit will then be shown.
- Select Transact to use the assigned limit.
Via Mpesa App
- Download and install the Mpesa Business App from the Google Play Store.
